2024-2025 Healthy Aging Community Collaboratives, Enhancement Grant.
The grant aims at strengthening partnerships within communities and enhance the ability to support older adults holistically and effectively. The Hospice Society of the Columbia thank the United Way of British Columbia for the funding received that will increase coordination, support, and retention of volunteers amongst local organizations that serve the older population and utilize volunteers to help those in need.

Invermere Health Care Auxiliary Society
The Invermere Health Care Auxiliary Society is a registered charitable organization with over 150 volunteers, who are dedicated to raising funds for the improvement and enhancement of Health Care in the Columbia Valley. Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiative Grant
Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) supports efforts by the people of the Basin to create a legacy of social, economic and environmental well-being and to achieve greater self-sufficiency for present and future generations. Working closely with people who live in the Basin, CBT develops and delivers programs and initiatives that respond to their needs and supports communities.
Columbia Valley Community Foundation
The Columbia Valley Community Foundation (“Foundation”) is a collection of endowment funds established by donors from all walks of life to build legacies in our Valley communities. Funds are pooled and invested with the income distributed as grants to charitable organizations, and students, in a broad and inclusive manner that benefits the Columbia Valley between Spillimacheen and Canal Flats. The Foundation, on behalf of its donors, has distributed more than $410,000 to registered charities that identified and led over 131 projects in the areas of: recreation, community facilities, children and youth, arts and culture, health and safety, the environment, literacy, student awards and social services.
Together with its community, a foundation enables the unique and essential spirit that flourishes when people believe their community holds possibilities for everyone.

Regional District of the East Kootenays (RDEK)
The RDEK functions as a partnership of the municipalities and electoral areas (unincorporated areas) within its boundaries. These local governments work together through the RDEK to provide and coordinate services in both urban and rural areas. The municipalities and areas of the Columbia Valley include the District of Invermere, Village of Radium Hot Springs, Village of Canal Flats, Areas F & G.

BC Centre for Palliative Care
The BC Centre for Palliative Care works with partners in the health system and community along with researchers and policy makers to accelerate the spread of innovations and best practices in palliative care. The Bereavement Program in 2023 was funded by the BC Centre for Palliative Care through All Together- Spreading Community Innovation Seeds Grant Program
