Hike for Hospice

Sunday, June 16th

At K2 Ranch

Walk in Memory ♥ Walk in Support

This family event will once again be held at the magnificent SRL K2 Ranch thanks to the generosity of ranch owners Bob and Barb Shaunessy.

Choose from two hikes based on your interest and ability.

Pack a picnic lunch. Bring your own water bottle.

Friendly dogs on leash are welcome.

Carry a paper butterfly as you hike. The butterfly is a symbol of hospice used by many hospice organizations around the world. If you are hiking in honour of someone living with a terminal illness, or in memory of a loved one who has died, you may wish to write their name on paper butterflies available at check-in to carry with you as you walk. Upon finishing your walk you are invited to pin your butterfly on a banner which is then placed on display in the Hospice Office.

Directions to K2 Ranch on Westside Road:
From Invermere: at the intersection of 13th St & 13th Ave (JA Laird School) turn south on 13th Ave. Drive 12.3 km then turn in at the sign.
